Once a year for Saint Patrick’s Day I make these Lucky Charms treats with the kids! We even dye ours green! Try this recipe-its so easy!

What you need
Making these no-bake treats is so easy! They work exactly like rice krispy treats.
- One box of Lucky Charms cereal
- 1 bag of mini marshmallows
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) of butter (softened)
- green food coloring (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
- large saucepan
- cake sheet pan
- non stick spray
How to make Lucky Charms treats
You make these treats the same exact way as rice krispy treats. Set a large pot on the stove over medium heat. Melt butter and then pour in your marshmallows and stir until they are both completely melted.

Pour several drops of green food coloring in until you reach the shade of green you like.

Add in one box of Lucky Charms.

Turn off the heat and stir to combine.
Spray your cake pan with non-stick cooking spray. This will help the Lucky Charms treats to come out easier after they set. Fold in the mixture and press down in the pan until its completely uniform and flat.

Let the pan sit until the treats have cooled. Slice into squares and enjoy!
