It’s the end of the school year, but these easy teacher gift ideas can be for any holiday, birthday, teacher appreciation, start of the school year… you name it!
Summer is almost here… freaking out yet?
Hey everybody! It’s almost the end of the school year. Im sure some of you are ready for a break from homework and school assignments. You’re probably looking forward to a few weeks of long lazy days without a grueling schedule and routine. On the flip side, others of you are dreading “long, lazy days” with kids around full time. Yup, doesn’t the thought of them just getting bored, fighting with their siblings and longing to be entertained by any screen they can get their hands on have you super thrilled?! Did I just scare you guys?! Ha! Well don’t freak out just yet, I mean we still have a couple more weeks right?! 😉
Boom Goes The Gift Card!
So the end is upon us. Have you decided if you’re going to give teacher gifts yet? One of my love languages (have you read the 5 Love Languages? So good!) is gift-giving. Because of this, I personally like putting some time and thought into teacher gifts. But hey, sometimes I just don’t have the freakin’ time or mental energy, and when that happens… you guessed it! Boom goes the GIFT CARD! Don’t feel like you’re copping out with a gift card! Teachers LOVE gift cards- they are perfect if you’re looking for easy teacher gift ideas! If you want to make it a little extra special just try attaching that sucker to some sort of cute packaging, because we all know packaging sells! I’m a sucker for some pretty packaging. Sparkles? YES! Pink? YES! Big Bow? YES! It draws my eye and sucks me in. I said “suck” a lot, hun? HA!
The Purpose Of This Post Is To Inspire You!
No shame here guys! I’ve rounded up a few ideas below. However, if you are, in fact, looking for some DIY project inspo check out my other post here. For now, just keep reading below for some easy teacher gift ideas using cute printables I found on Pinterest. This way you can attach it to whatever store bought item you find. I’ll link them of course! It’s all about ease here! However, please remember that just taking the time to even acknowledge your teacher or any important figure in you or your child’s life is a really big deal! It requires being present and intentional, and it really isn’t what you give, but the idea that you thought of them!! Even just a handwritten card is AHHH-MAZING!
So If You’re Going The Gift Card Route…
I can’t recommend enough to have your teacher fill out a questionnaire of their favorites! This saves EVERYONE time! #MOMHACK I have scoured the internet searching for ones that were most applicable for me, and I finally just combined a few into a format I really like. I’ve got it right here for ya. 😉 If you’re not a mom and you’re reading this… maybe you’re a student and you’re just looking for ideas to thank someone this post is for you too!

Give Yourself A Break!
I understand that some of the moms that are reading this are SAHMs that might really enjoy cutesy craft projects. You’re the moms that like to bring baked goods, volunteer as much as you can and overall set the bar really really high for the rest of us. 🙂 I love you moms! I have been that mom at times. I have also been the mom scrambling, running late, forgetting my kids lunch, even forgetting to pick up my kid- yup I’ve done that. So for you moms that are working full time, part time or are just overall overwhelmed- the purpose of this post is not to overwhelm you more. I want to share what little “mom-hacks” I can so you can look like one of those “super star moms” with a fraction of the effort. It’s all about efficiency baby! Time is MONEY!
In Conclusion…
Whether you decide to make something from scratch or just write a nice note- know that you are doing an AMAZING job. If you forget teacher appreciation week or opt out of end of year teacher gifts altogether, you’re still a great mom! Sometimes life (and our sanity) requires us to step back a little. All us moms out there need more grace in our lives. We need and deserve more kudos, and more appreciation but most of all- we need to give ourselves more grace. You are doing an AMAZING job! Did I say that already? Yes I did.
