Tight on space like me? I’ve rounded up my favorite pics of cute small desk ideas for a modern boho home office!
I’m still working on my home office, and I want it to have a modern, beachy bohemian vibe. I’m really into all the beautiful natural tones right now! Bring on the rattan, mango wood and driftwood tones. It’s really all about natural elements so I rounded up my top picks for cute small desk ideas for a modern boho home office, and I think these desks fit the bill for beauty and functionality!
If you’re working with a small space like I am then you’re limited to the width you can choose for a desk. I’m also considering knee space. I like to be able to fit my chair underneath, and cross my legs if I have too. (bad, I know!)
Cute Small Desk Ideas:
Desk 1 is a great corner desk option but in my small space it really can only go in one corner if its going to be sitting against the wall. Otherwise if I move it I would need to float it out into the room in the other direction. Do you guys like that style? Facing the desk toward the center of the room?
Desk 2. This desk from Casual Home is so cute! It also fits the measurement requirements and it even has space in the back with USB plugs so it can hide all your wires! Genius!
Desk 4 is from World Market and I just love it so much. The gold accents and hexagon design and the gold hairpin legs really give it a modern boho glam vibe. However, this one is a bit on the longer side so I would be more limited on which wall it would sit on. Also, I’m not sure if this desk would clash or not with the wallpaper I picked for the room. See that post here.
Desk 6 has a lot of similarities to desk 4. It also has gold inlay and a really pretty wood. This one is a bit too shallow though, and I don’t think it would give me enough knee height. I’ve included it anyway though because its still gorgeous and you may love it! I think its so cute and perfect for a small space.
And finally Desk 7. I just love this desk. I loved it from the first time I saw it. It has a beautiful light driftwood tone to the wood, perfect for a beachy boho office. Alas though, if I purchase this one then that limits me to just two walls in my office since its width is 60 inches, instead of the flexibility of moving it into any corner. Decisions, decisions, hmmmm. 😉
Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my top picks for cute small desk ideas for a modern boho home office!
Drop a comment below and let me know if I should just go with what I love regardless of it being small enough to work in any corner. Would it bother you to stick to just one placement option in the room? Would you sacrifice your top pick to have more flexibility? I suffer from major decision fatigue so any advice would be so appreciated! Thanks for stopping by!
