If you’re looking for inspo to give your outdoor space some love check out my Boho Outdoor Decor Deck Reveal!
I’ve been working on my deck as a serious project for almost three years! it started as a blank slate with nothing up here other than some glistening hot saltilo tile! This deck can BAKE in warm months, and because there was no shade over most of it we ended up rarely using it. Since our home feels like its getting smaller with each child we have we decided to expand our square footage by make this an outdoor space we would want to use year round. I love boho outdoor decor so that’s the theme we went with here. Enjoy our deck reveal! I’ve included links so you can shop our deck as well.
If You’re Doing Boho Outdoor Decor You Need A Swing!
Let’s face it, it’s all about the swing really. They’re totally trending and for good reason. These little nests, pods, whatever you wanna call em are so cozy! Most people I know can relax just by swingin or rockin. It gives you those homey vibes. These swings I found at Hayneedle.
Shade is key!
I love to lie in the sun, that’s why I made sure to have sun loungers out here, but with the sun also comes the HEAT! So having a pergola was a necessity. This really helped define the space and gave the deck an out outdoor living room feel. We found ours at Costco.
Boho Outdoor Living Room Vibes:
In order to create a room in this outdoor space we knew we needed to layer in rugs, comfortable seating, and some type of heat source. You can find the rug at allmodern.com. Since Cali nights can get chilly we knew we wanted a firepit table. We purchased this one from Amazon because it had the old world Spanish/Moroccan look we were going for. These futons from World Market aren’t outdoor furniture, but they’ve held up really well! I love these because I can lift either side up or lay them completely flat. These sofas are SO comfortable!!!! We use ours as chaises too. Get them while they’re 30% off!
Boho Outdoor Decor Must Have Macrame!
How sweet is this macrame umbrella? I think it gives the space the perfect amount of shade and boho vibe. This one is from World Market, but its currently sold out so I found a similar one linked here from Target. Rugs and lounge chair cushions are from Target. Pots are from Home Goods.
Throw pillows are Urban Outfitters
Rattan chairs are vintage, throw pillow is from World Market, wicker pouf is Target
*sources linked here: throw pillows, macrame curtains, lanterns, garland
